I'm Sarah and I'm a huge book addict based in the UK.
Reading has been the biggest part of me for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are being camped out under my bed covers with my torch, silently turning the pages of my Enid Blyton novels because I couldn't bear to do something as mundane as sleep when there were all these adventures to be had. That feeling never went away and even though I am now (apparently) an adult, you will still most often find me with my head in a book and my heart in some other world.
After a lifetime of not really having anyone to share that most important part of me with, in the last few years I have seen some of my dreams come true as I have been an active member of the online book community with my Instagram page @apageofwordsandwishes. I've met so may people who share my passions and it honestly brings so much joy and purpose to my life every day. There really is no better feeling in the world than receiving a message from a follower telling me my posts inspired them to get back into reading or that they loved a book I recommended.
At the end of 2021, I launched my own online bookish shop, creating themed gift boxes based on different genres. I also offer custom boxes and I truly love nothing more than discovering someone's favourite books and quotes and being able to curate a little trove for them to enjoy.
I have always known that my purpose in life was somewhere in books, growing up I thought that meant I needed to become an author or work in a book shop. What I have realised is that I have a huge passion for connecting people with the books that they are supposed to read. I can't promise that I will nail it every time, but I can promise that I will always go above and beyond to serve as your very own personal matchmaker.
I am eternally grateful for anyone that would like to join me and support me in being able to live my very own little adventure and I hope I can help you uncover all those books that you are destined to read.
